Back in the early 1980's I, Russell Wilson, walked into the computer room of the junior college here in my hometown of Fayette, Alabama. On each person's monitor, via a TI-990 mainframe computer, was the same computer game. It was very gratifying because that game was written by me. |

Then at the University of Alabama my roommate, Neal Champion, and I wrote games on our first personal computers, the VIC-20. We sent our games to magazines to have them published, but with no luck. Some of you will remember typing in programs from listings in a magazine, they didn't come with disks and there was no World Wide Web to download them! |
| The Amiga 500 was my next computer. A very nice solitaire game for it introduced me to the ancient Chinese tiles of Mah Jongg. After playing it a lot, I began to think of things that would add more mystery, strategy, and challenge. |

The result was Mah Jongg Wall, my first game for Windows desktop PC's. Mah Jongg Wall was reviewed in GAMES magazine ( June/1998 ) and was published and sold by COSMI/Swift in retail stores as Mah Jongg Magic. |
